World Championship in Podology & Medical Therapeutic Pedicure

1. General Information

The World Championship in Podology and Medical Therapeutic Pedicure is an international professional competition open to:

Podologists

Medical Pedicurists

Foot Care Therapists

Clinical Nail Specialists

Diabetic Foot Care Specialists

Advanced Pedicure Therapists

The purpose of the championship is:

To promote professional standards

To demonstrate clinical results

To encourage safe medical procedures

To showcase therapeutic skills

To improve podology education worldwide

2. Participation Requirements

Each participant must present:

✔ Real therapeutic case

✔ Own work only

✔ Authentic photos

✔ No stolen cases

✔ No AI generated work

✔ No heavy photo manipulation

Allowed photo corrections:

✔ Brightness adjustment

✔ Contrast adjustment

✔ Cropping

✔ Collage creation

Not allowed:

✖ Photoshop results

✖ Editing the medical condition

✖ Filters hiding the real result

3. Photo Submission Requirements

Each participant must submit a 4-photo collage showing the full treatment process.

Mandatory photos:

Photo 1 – Before treatment

Photo 2 – During treatment

Photo 3 – Immediately after procedure

Photo 4 – Follow-up result

4. Mandatory Information on the Photos

Each collage MUST clearly show:

✔ Treatment start date

✔ Treatment end date

✔ Duration of therapy

✔ Category name

Example:

Start date: 10 March 2026

End date: 25 April 2026

Treatment duration: 6 weeks

5. Treatment Description (Mandatory)

Each photo must include a short professional description.

The participant must describe:

Initial condition

Diagnosis

Treatment technique used

Instruments used

Products used

Number of sessions

Medical protocol followed

Healing progress

Final result

Example:

Photo 1 description: Severely ingrown nail with inflammation and infection.

Photo 2 description: Nail correction procedure performed. Pressure relieved.

Photo 3 description: Inflammation reduced. Nail canal cleaned.

Photo 4 description: Healthy nail regrowth after 4 sessions.

6. Judging Criteria

Judges evaluate based on:

✔ Hygiene standards

✔ Medical safety

✔ Professional technique

✔ Case difficulty

✔ Treatment protocol

✔ Clinical improvement

✔ Documentation quality

✔ Professional ethics

✔ Infection control

✔ Final therapeutic result

7. Scoring System

Maximum score: 100 points

Evaluation criteria:

Diagnosis accuracy: 0–10 points

Treatment planning: 0–10 points

Case difficulty: 0–10 points

Professional technique: 0–15 points

Hygiene protocol: 0–10 points

Medical safety: 0–10 points

Therapeutic result: 0–15 points

Documentation quality: 0–10 points

Visible improvement: 0–10 points

Mandatory requirements:

12. Photo Quality Standards

Photos must be:
